SUMMARY

We're looking for a highly creative and ambitious Digital Content Producer to help grow Firefly's brand through topical and engaging video and photography content. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and executing original show concepts and bespoke short-form-vertical-video that showcases Firefly's mission, innovations, people, and unique company culture. Your goal will be to create content that not only informs but also entertains, helping us reach new audiences and establish Firefly as a leader in the space and defense market. As you grow in this position, you'll play a key role in shaping our content strategy and finding new ways to tell Firefly's story.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and produce long-form and short-form videos showcasing Firefly's programs, people & mission
• Document Firefly program milestones – developing video and photography assets for external use
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines
• Analyze content performance and viewer engagement to inform future strategies
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and platforms
• Identify a content management system for photo and video asset storage and sharing Support livestream production for Firefly launch, lunar, and in-space missions
• Support internal video requests for Firefly All Hands and other ad hoc initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic

• 4+ years of video and design experience - professional or side hustles are acceptable
• A portfolio of high-quality work that spans video types (YouTube, Instagram Reels, etc.) as well as a range of mediums (videos, photography, motion graphics‚ etc.)
• Expert knowledge of a variety of design tools (Adobe Premier Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, etc.)
• Team player who learns quickly and thrives in a fast-paced organization
• Experience working the production of Livestream events
• An impeccable eye for design, style, detail, and color
• Willing to work in person at Firefly’s facilities in the north Austin area
