Coreslab Structures (TX) Inc. is now accepting qualified applications for a full-time Onsite Safety Manager. This position will primarily be located in Haskell TX with a duration of 5 months.

Position overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Safety Manager to oversee safety operations for a 5-month project in Haskell TX. This is a full-time, onsite role responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.

Pay rate: $40/hour

Per Diem: 160/day

Duties and Responsibilities:

Identify and asses potential safety hazards on the jobsite

Enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance

Take immediate corrective action when safety issues arise

Oversee and support safe practices related to lift planning, rigging, and repetitive motion tasks

Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and audits

Maintain proper documentation and reporting of safety activities

Collaborate with project management to ensure safety standards are met throughout the project

Skills and Knowledge:
Must submit current resume outlining certifications and relevant experience

Resume and credentials are subject to review and approval by CTS

Valid OSHA 500 certificaiton

Authority and confidence to enforce safety protocols and corrective actions

Current certifications in First Aid, CPR and AED

Qualifications and Experience:

Holds an academic degree in safety or a CSP, ASP, or CHST designation
Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Construction Safety Manager
Strong ability to recognize and mitigate jobsite hazards
Authority and confidence to enforce safety protocols and corrective actions
Proven experience with lift planning, rigging and repetitive motion hazard management

Employment Type: Full-time (project based), 10 hours a day, 60 hours a week

Physical Requirements:
Able to handle stressful situations

Able to work long hours when needed

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday

Must be able to bend stoop, kneel and crouch regularly

Abilty to work in various weather

Must wear PPE at all times including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and steel to boots

Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations
