Responsibilities:

● Manage Nonprofit Partnerships:
○ Build and maintain relationships with nonprofit organizations.
○ Collaborate with partners to identify opportunities for SCHEELS to support their missions.
○ Ensure alignment between SCHEELS' community goals and partner organizations.

● Manage Donation Systems, Requests, and Budget:
○ Oversee the donation process, including review, approval, and fulfillment.
○ Monitor and manage the budget allocated for donations, ensuring effective use of
resources.
○ Maintain organized and accurate records of all donations.

● Oversee SCHEELS Foundation Grant & End of Year Giving Campaign Opportunities:
○ Coordinate and manage SCHEELS Foundation projects, ensuring they align with our
philanthropic goals.
○ Identify and evaluate grant opportunities to support community initiatives.
○ Administer the grant application and selection process.
○ Plan, organize, and execute the End of Year Grant Giving Campaign.
○ Work with internal teams to identify and prioritize grant recipients.
○ Ensure timely and impactful distribution of funds to selected organizations.

● Lead Employee Giving Programs & Campaigns:
○ Oversee and promote employee giving programs, including payroll deductions and
SCHEELS Helping Hands volunteer program. .
○ Encourage employee participation and engagement in giving campaigns.
○ Track and report on the impact of employee contributions.
○ Ability to speak in front of large groups and present at meetings.

● Additional Responsibilities-

○ Assist the Event Leader in the preparation, coordination and execution of events.
○ Assist the Social Media Specialist with creating community related content.
○ Ability to perform basic math; calculate figures, discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and measurements.
○ Prepare spreadsheets for use in business applications and/or to stay organized.
○ Ability to follow written, oral and diagram instructions
○ Exercise judgment and tact and be able to effectively work with all levels within the organization while working on projects
○ Demonstrates strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
○ Be professional in appearance and attitude; contribute to a positive team atmosphere by treating others with respect and consideration while taking pride in being part of a winning team.
○ Maintain orderly appearance of personal work space and surrounding areas
○ Perform work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
○ Ability to work assigned schedule which is typically Monday through Friday day time hours, and may include some evening or weekend hours as needed.
○ Must possess a valid driver’s license

Education & Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, or general education degree (GED), 1-3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.

Medium work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for light work.
