Your Impact at SAM

  • Provide subject matter expert level service and support to operating organizations with respect to project set-up (openings) and project inactivation (closings)
  • Assist operating organizations with ongoing project maintenance adjustments, proper codification of effort, and review of project detail
  • Maintain continual effective communication with operating organizations with respect to project health concerns (ie WIP levels, revenue recognition, profitability, etc.)
  • Identify areas of improvement in processes and system functions and lead efforts to implement enhancements within the operating organizations
  • Provide assistance and back-up support to current and future Billing Specialist team
  • Coordinate monthly revenue recognition review with operating organizations and Accounting
  • Assist with and participate in process and system training programs
  • Provide support with the incorporation of acquisitions in the Company
  • Ensure maintenance and compliance of proper internal controls and assist in the creation of Company policies
  • Perform other tasks as assigned to help accomplish the Company’s strategic goals

What You Bring to SAM

  • Proven experience in the A/E industry (or similar professional services firm) experience with the ability to work with multiple teams and projects
  • Experience in project cost accounting systems and processes
  • BST10 experience strongly desired
  • Strong technology skills, including MS Office and specifically Excel
  • Strong analytical skills and detail orientated
  • Willingness to be “hands-on”
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills enabling a discussion of operational and financial matters across a range of both financial and non-financial teammate
