Your Impact at SAM

The Senior Proposal Coordinator works with Marketing, Business Development and Operations to identify proposal opportunities, develop and submit proposals and similar marketing/business development documents.  This also includes presentations and tracking related success metrics.

  • Manage the development and production of proposal responses (RFQs, RFPs, RFIs, LOIs etc.) in a deadline-intensive, fast-paced environment
  • Manage full pursuit calendar including review schedule, all deadlines and critical path items (e.g. administrative forms)
  • Collaborate with project leads/business development and technical SMEs team to craft appropriate and compliant RFP responses, including strategic win themes
  • Host/lead kickoff meetings and subsequent color coded review meetings (e.g. Red Team)
  • Develop/layout graphically attractive submittals in Adobe Creative Cloud (primarily InDesign)
  • Review and edit content received for readability and grammar, extract content for call-out boxes, create infographics that visually communicate key points
  • Coordinate deliverables with subcontractors/teaming partners
  • Provide all final documents according to unique proposal requirements for delivery to Client
  • Create shortlist interview presentation materials (primarily in PowerPoint) and conduct/lead interview prep sessions
  • Archive submittals, provide updates to marketing database
  • Collaborate/assist other Proposal Coordinators as needed
  • Help to create/update project descriptions, lessons learned and resumes through collaboration with project personnel and existing documentation
  • Perform other tasks as assigned to help accomplish the Company’s strategic goals

What You Bring to SAM

  • Minimum of a four-year college degree or equivalent work experience
  • 6-7 years of experience, preferably in the A/E/C field
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrable organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines
