In this role, the Chief Accountant is to accurately record, analyze and control the financial transactions in the Finland Books using various financial software applications. This role requires him or her to provide support for the Financial Manager and stand in for them when necessary.

Work tasks include

• General Ledger accounting
• Reconciliations and analyzes
• Monthly VAT reporting
• Month end activities and ad hoc reports and requests as needed
• Development of reporting systems and reporting processes as a member of Finance Team
• Participating in preparations of budgets, financial statements and tax return
• Fix assets accounting
• GL entries and reconciliations
• Back up for monthly group reporting
• Other tasks as assigned by the manager

We are looking for

• Education in accounting
• 5 years business experience in a similar position
• Experience in ERP software (e.g. Syteline)
• Experience in international group reporting
• Works systematically and accurately. Is solution-oriented, self-initiative and development-oriented
• Strong team player with the ability to work well in a team-oriented, short-deadline, high pressure environment
• Proficiency with Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Finnish

The salary range for this position is 3.700 – 4.500€ per month (gross), depending on experience and qualifications.
