The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for domestic and international shipments and independently handles OTC shipments. Hazardous materials shipments are also part of the tasks. The position requires attentiveness and the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.

Tasks:

• Organizing and monitoring domestic and international shipments
• Liaising with transport companies, suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Supporting purchasing in logistical issues
• Sending measuring equipment to different construction sites and managing their returns
• Coordinating shipments from foreign suppliers directly to construction sites (cross trade)
• Other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Education related to the job (e.g. logistics, trade or technology)
• Experience in logistics, supply chain or purchasing tasks
• Diligence, good organizational skills and problem-solving skills
• Management of payment methods (letters of credit), delivery terms and product classification standards
• Self-initiative and prioritization skills
• Experience with ERP systems and office software skills

Language skills:

• Good Finnish and English language skills
