Dirigo (ˈdē-ri-ˌgō) Collaborative is a venture capital firm focused on early stage investment located in the greater Austin Metropolitan area. We have created and grown an industry leading business in the K-12 Ed Tech space to be the largest vendor nationally and parlayed that experience to invest in a number of other industries including hospitality, medical, and lifestyle businesses. Dirigo Collaborative derives its name from the state motto of Maine, dirigo, which means “I lead” or “I guide.” Founder Chris Meroff, who grew up in Maine, carries many titles including entrepreneur, business owner, author and speaker. But beneath each of these titles lies Chris’ true identity as a leader and a guide. Symbolized by the North Star, Dirigo Collaborative aspires to lead and guide founders toward purpose, opportunity and growth.
