How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Diagnostic Testing & Equipment Mastery: Conduct advanced electroneurodiagnostic testing—including EEG, EP, and PSG—while managing full equipment setup, technical maintenance, and artifact correction to ensure precise data capture.
  • Patient Care & Education: Review clinical histories, gather critical documentation, and educate patients on procedures to minimize anxiety and ensure compliance.
  • Clinical Monitoring & Safety: Continuous monitoring and documentation of patient conditions during testing, with immediate reporting of adverse reactions to guarantee patient safety.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Score, graph, and document diagnostic results, delivering accurate clinical reports to support medical teams in patient diagnosis.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Electroencephalographic Technician credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) preferred.
  • Technologist specializing in Evoked Potential credentialed from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists preferred.
  • Technologist specializing in Nerve Conduction Study credentialed from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists preferred.
  • Technologist specializing in Neurophysiologic Intraop Monit credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • BLS
  • EEG Experience
