Ascension Seton Williamson is a 341-bed regional hospital in Round Rock, Texas, serving the rapidly growing Williamson County and Central Texas communities. The hospital provides 24/7 emergency care and a broad range of cardiovascular, surgical, neurological, stroke, orthopedic and trauma services. It is home to an American College of Surgeons Verified Level II Trauma Center and is recognized as a Primary Heart Attack Center and Primary Stroke Plus Center, reflecting its commitment to advanced care, clinical excellence and patient safety. The President will lead the organization through continued growth, with responsibility for advancing clinical excellence, operational and financial performance, physician engagement and the hospital’s position in the Central Texas market.
Position Summary
The President provides overall leadership for Ascension Seton Williamson and is accountable for advancing the hospital’s mission, vision, strategic priorities and overall performance. The President serves as a visible and engaged leader for the organization, partnering with physicians, associates, senior leaders and Ascension Seton leadership to deliver high-quality, safe, compassionate care while achieving strong operational, financial and growth results.

How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Provide strategic and organizational leadership: Lead the senior management team in planning, directing and coordinating hospital operations to achieve the organization’s mission, strategic priorities and goals. Translate strategy into clear objectives, accountability and measurable results.
- Drive operational and financial performance: Establish a culture of accountability and shared ownership for short- and long-term objectives. Partner with senior leaders to achieve revenue, budget, productivity, access, patient flow, growth and other key performance goals while maintaining a strong focus on quality and patient experience.
- Advance clinical excellence and patient safety: Provide leadership for quality, performance improvement and patient safety initiatives. Partner with clinical leaders and physicians to continuously improve outcomes, patient experience and care delivery while ensuring compliance with regulatory, accreditation and organizational requirements.
- Strengthen physician partnership and engagement: Build and maintain trusted, collaborative relationships with physicians and medical staff. Integrate physician perspectives into strategic and operational decision-making and foster shared accountability for quality, growth, access and organizational performance.
- Lead and develop a high-performing leadership team: Create alignment, collaboration and ownership across the senior management team. Develop leaders, establish clear expectations and accountability, and build organizational capability and succession strength.
- Build a strong culture and workforce: Create an environment that attracts, motivates, develops and retains exceptional associates, leaders and physicians. Promote engagement, inclusion, collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement while developing internal talent and future leaders.
- Advance strategic growth and market position: Partner with Ascension Seton and system leadership to identify and execute opportunities for growth, service-line development, physician alignment and market expansion. Ensure the organization evolves in response to the healthcare needs of the rapidly growing Central Texas community.
- Lead organizational change and transformation: Champion strategic initiatives and organizational change, ensuring priorities are effectively translated into operational plans and sustainable results. Anticipate challenges, remove barriers and foster a culture that embraces continuous improvement.
- Optimize care delivery and collaboration: Collaborate with key leaders across Ascension Seton and the broader Ascension organization to leverage system resources, best practices and partnerships and optimize the delivery of care to patients, families, physicians and the community.
- Serve as a community and market leader: Represent Ascension Seton Williamson as a visible and trusted leader within the community and broader Central Texas market. Build strong relationships with community partners, physicians, business leaders and other key stakeholders.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Education:
- Bachelor's degree with 10 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 5 of those years being in leadership/management.
