How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Provide medical nutrition therapy and direct patient care by assessing nutritional status, developing individualized treatment plans, and evaluating clinical outcomes.
- Deliver nutrition counseling, diet therapy, and specialized nutrition support to improve patient health, recovery, and long-term wellness.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure evidence-based nutrition interventions.
- Monitor patient response to nutrition treatment plans, recommend adjustments, and maintain accurate clinical documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Support quality improvement initiatives by addressing nutrition-related concerns, resolving patient care issues, and promoting regulatory compliance.
- Educate patients, families, and community members on nutrition, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle practices to improve health outcomes.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Dietitian/Nutritionist credentialed from the Commission on Dietetic Registration obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional preferences we're seeking
- Previous pediatric experience preferred.
- Outpatient experience preferred.
