How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Lead clinical workflows as a Lead Echocardiography Technologist by overseeing imaging quality, patient care coordination, and the accuracy of clinical documentation.
• Support team development by facilitating staff orientation, providing technical coaching, and delivering performance evaluation input to maintain high department standards.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and quality control testing to ensure all diagnostic tools meet safety requirements and provide high-quality cardiac images.
• Coordinate the prompt submission of imaging data to PACS, ensuring technical parameters, lead markers, and patient histories meet regulatory standards.
• Perform direct patient care as a Lead Echocardiography Technologist by accurately positioning patients and selecting anatomic parameters for complex cardiac studies.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• One or more of the following:

• Cardiac Sonographer specializing in Adult Echo credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Advanced Pediatric Echocardiography Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer-Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-PE) or Fetal Echocardiography Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer-Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-FE) also accepted.
• Sonography Tech specializing in Cardiac credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Cardiovascular Credentialing International - Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-ACS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International
- Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCCS) also accepted.

Education:

• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, OR Associate's degree, OR Technical degree
required.
