How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Support pharmacists by managing technical and distributive services to ensure the safe and timely delivery of patient medications.
  • Maintain automated dispensing systems and inventory to guarantee accurate, immediate access to medications across the facility.
  • Manage the pharmacy supply chain, including preparing orders, correctly repackaging bulk medications, and securing all incoming supplies.
  • Facilitate clear, essential communication between the pharmacy, patients, and other healthcare professionals to support continuity of care.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • One or more of the following required:
    • Licensed Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Pharmacy Intern obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
