How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Lead Regional Ministry Delivery: Oversee the direct delivery and facilitation of Ministry Formation programs, services, and resources specifically for the Texas Ministry.
- Develop Operational Frameworks: Create, evaluate, and update work plans and delivery processes to ensure effective program implementation within Formation.
- Strategic Mission Integration: Partner with market mission integration executive leadership to advance overall mission objectives and organizational identity.
- Embed Ministry Identity: Collaborate across departments to integrate ministry identity into key initiatives, accountability structures, and priority programs.
- Foster Spiritual & Ethical Culture: Promote a culture of theological reflection, spiritual growth, and ethical discernment aligned with the organization’s Mission and Values.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Theology, Spirituality, Divinity, Pastoral Studies, Healthcare Mission Leadership, Ethics, Servant Leadership, or related field is required. Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
Work Experience:
- 1 year applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- 1 year of leadership/management experience required.
What additional preferences we're seeking
- A Master's degree in Theology, Divinity, Religious Studies, Pastoral Ministry, or Spirituality is preferred.
- Candidates should have 1+ years of experience in Mission Integration or Ministry.
- The role requires a basic understanding of world religions and the ability to articulate Ascension's Mission, Vision, and Values.
