How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Ensure the safety and efficiency of complex surgical procedures.
• Prepare the surgical suite, confirming all drapes, solutions, and instruments are sterile and ready.
• Support the surgical team by expertly handing instruments and anticipating the surgeon’s needs throughout the procedure.
• Assist in the preparation, transport, and positioning of patients, upholding patient comfort and dignity.
• Maintain a safe, organized, sterile field and accurately track all instrument counts for optimal patient safety.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

2 years of recent Certified Surgical Scrub experience.
