How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Work with doctors and teams to provide high-level data interpretation for critical neuro-monitoring (EEG, ICU, LTM).
  • Lead and train staff on advanced equipment setup and data protocols.
  • Build and fix the "tech web" connecting medical devices (like Nihon Kohden and Persyst) using Citrix and secure networks (VLANs).
  • Ensure patient data moves safely and smoothly across hospital systems.
  • Manage the entire life of medical equipment—from picking vendors and buying gear to installing it during hospital renovations.
  • Evaluate technical risks and plan budgets for high-stakes clinical systems.
  • Work with IT to hunt for vulnerabilities and protect patient data.
  • Ensure all devices follow FDA, CMS, and Joint Commission rules for safety and privacy.
  • Find out why tech fails (root-cause analysis) and fix it to prevent downtime.
  • Make sure the technology works the same way across all hospital locations.
  • Act as the main link between vendors, IT, and medical staff.
  • Manage service contracts and lead large-scale tech rollouts across the organization.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Electroencephalographic Technician credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Certified Electrocardiography Tech specializing in Long Term Monitoring credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Neuroanalyst Certification Examination In Long Term Monitoring (CLTM) preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • Maintain two ABRET certifications focusing on IT
