How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Strategic Leadership & Execution: Drive the day-to-day operational success of the department(s) while developing and executing strategic goals, standards, and objectives that directly support the organization’s mission and long-term vision.
- Talent Management & Development: Own the complete employee lifecycle, from overseeing hiring and orientation to conducting performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. You will champion continuous professional development and training initiatives to cultivate a best-in-class team.
- Fiscal Responsibility & Compliance: Manage the departmental budget process, ensuring fiscal responsibility and compliance. You will also oversee regulatory affairs, departmental contracts, and vendor relations to optimize resources and mitigate risk.
- Innovation & Business Insight: Direct and oversee high-impact special projects and complex business analyses that provide actionable insights, inform organizational strategy, and drive continuous performance improvement.
- Organizational Planning: Contribute as a vital member of the management team, actively developing and influencing short and long-term organizational planning and strategy to ensure sustainable growth and a competitive advantage.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
What additional preferences we're seeking
- Registered Nurse and/or Respiratory Therapist
- Experience in and with Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care transport is strongly preferred
- Someone with CAMTS accreditation for transport systems familiarity and experience is a plus
