How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Lead surgical readiness by preparing and setting up complex environments in both office and hospital operating rooms, ensuring every procedure starts with precision.
  • Support patient safety by closely monitoring those undergoing general anesthesia or IV sedation, providing a vigilant second set of eyes for the surgical team.
  • Empower patient recovery by translating post-operative care instructions into clear, actionable guidance that helps patients manage their healing journey at home.
  • Advocate for clinical success by serving as the vital communication link between the patient and the surgeon, ensuring any recovery concerns are addressed immediately.
  • Maintain operational excellence by managing specialized surgical equipment, ensuring every tool is in peak working order for the next life-changing procedure.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • One or more of the following required:
    • Dental Anest Asst Natl Cert credentialed from the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Dental Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • Active RDA license.
  • 1+ years of dental surgery experience.
