The HCM System Administrator is expected to skillfully manage, maintain, and continuously enhance our Dayforce environment with a high level of detail and accuracy. This role will be responsible for system configuration, troubleshooting, data integrity, and supporting HR and business users in leveraging the system effectively. The role requires strong technical acumen, hands-on experience with HRIS platforms—particularly Dayforce—and a commitment to optimizing HR technologies for efficiency and effectiveness ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as the primary administrator for Dayforce modules (e.g., Recruiting, Payroll, etc.)Configure and maintain system settings, workflows, forms, and enabling new technologies as released.Accurately track, document, and communicate all system changes, ensuring that all required approvals are obtained before implementation.Provide Tier 2 support to end users and HR Business Partners.Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with Dayforce Support or third-party vendors when needed.Ensure data integrity through regular audits, data validation, and clean-up activities.Participate in new module implementations, enhancements, and updates.Partner with HR, IT, and external consultants on project scoping, testing, and go-live support.Build, maintain, and optimize reports and dashboards using Dayforce reporting tools (e.g., Ad Hoc Reports).Provide insights to HR leadership through accurate and timely data delivery.Other duties may be assigned. Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, and Three (3) years of professional experience with Dayforce HCM system administrationUnderstanding of HR processes and data structures.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Experience with system integrations COMPETENCIES Demonstrated competency in system trouble-shooting and problem resolution for Dayforce HCM systemDemonstrated proficiency in creating queries and reports from HCM system(s)Advanced analytical and quantitative skills and advanced MS Excel skillsPC proficiency in MS Office and OutlookExceptional project management skills with proven ability to meet deliverables in a complex, geographically dispersed organizationSkill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all levels within the organization as evidenced by success in working collaboratively with others to effectively coordinate activities to accomplish tasksAbility to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyExcellent written communication skills to create effective technical documentation and/or user training materials as requiredComprehensive knowledge of legal and compliance issues in the HR, Payroll, and/or Benefits body of knowledge WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL ACTIVITY The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
